Emma Kempton is the VP of Account Management at Clausematch, located in the United Kingdom. We recently sat down with Emma to learn about her role at Clausematch.
My role at Clausematch is all about supporting our lovely Financial, Insurance and Energy clients in the UK, Europe and APAC. I work with our clients during every step of their journey with us from signing a contract, to implementation, roll-out and adoption, all the way to contract renewal. I am their first point of contact at Clausematch to help them reach business objectives through the use of our technology.
Prior to Clausematch, I was the Manager of Client Loyalty for EMEA at Thomson Reuters. My role within Governance, Risk and Compliance was to manage and lead a team responsible for creating and developing client loyalty, increasing customer satisfaction and product utilization, increasing penetration for new and additional products within existing accounts, and ultimately driving revenue retention.
Immediately before joining Clausematch, I took a short break from the workplace and spent time with my two children before they started school. This included a round-the-world trip and lots of fun adventures.
From the first time I met the team, I was inspired by the work they had done and the ambitious vision they had for the future. I genuinely liked the core product and could see the fit for it in the market as a Policy Management solution to help businesses with their policies, procedures and controls.
I have seen the team expand and grow in my 3+ years at Clausematch. During this time, I loved being hands-on with our first set of clients, seeing our client base grow, helping them to achieve their business goals, and working with them to improve and iterate our product.
There have been many! I enjoyed our fabulous events and being able to travel to Minsk and Georgia for company retreats. I have been lucky enough to visit our team in beautiful St. Petersburg in the snow. Additionally, I represented Clausematch at the Action for Kids (AFK) tournament to support children with disabilities. We came in second place!
Be ready for anything. Be open to a fast-paced, exciting environment.
I love organizing events for my children's school to help raise money for furthering the educational needs of all the children and providing them with lots of fun opportunities and experiences. I also love organizing street parties for my community - It's a great opportunity to meet my neighbors and bring the entire community together. Outside of organizing events, netball and boxing keep me sane.
